The Sectoral Education Program’s mandatory course, SEC 101 Introduction to University Life Course, is designed as a first-year experience program for all ÖzÜ students. Conducted by OLTE, this course aims to support students in adapting to university life while fostering self-regulation and mindful awareness.

The course consists of four modules and is completed over two academic terms. Students engage in a wide range of activities, from familiarising themselves with university resources and developing self-regulation skills to learning effective note-taking techniques and participating in interactive workshops on contemporary issues throughout the program. These experiences not only enrich their first-year journey but also help them develop essential competencies that will support their academic and personal growth throughout their university life.
